"This tape player was recovered along with a set of partially legible notes and a single tape still inside. It isn't apparent when it was last used but the equipment appears to date back to the 1970s.

Analysis of the contents of the tape reveals recordings of four distinct sonic landscapes that sound as if they were made in the field. A variety of natural sounds come through in the audio but are not immediately recognisable as anything we know. The location of the recordings remains indiscernible."

Installation exhibited at the George Henry Lee's building as part of the Liverpool Biennial 2018.
