‘Rewired Tales’ is the culmination of a long-running collaborative project centred around the reworking of a handful of songs from Joan Foye’s album ’Highwire Tales’.   Joan is an artist and musician based in West Riding and recorded her album back in 2016. It features gorgeous versions of songs by Mary Chapin Carpenter, The Waifs, Mary Gauthier and Gretchen Peters to name a few.

We worked with the original vocal stems as well as the fantastic instrumentation from Joan’s long-time collaborator Gifford Rolfe. What started out as individual experimentations was eventually wrestled together and stitched into one long composition.
